Abstract

The research study aims  to  determine the relationship between information and communication technology  and foreign direct investment  in  SOME countries in the MENA region during the period extending from 2007 to 2017 using  by the panel data models. The obtained results indicate after processing and analyzing the data by the Eviews10 program   show that there is a causal  relationship between information and communication technology and foreign direct investment in the long term . This is what  confirms the necessity to develop the means for information and communication technology in these countries if to be able to support the foreign direct investment, which is one of the most important factors for economic growth.
