Abstract

The study aims to identify the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on electronic commerce and the differences that will occur in transaction rates before and during the pandemic. This is to highlight the importance of electronic commerce, which has characteristics that could make a difference and compensating for the recession that struck the global economy, and It has been shown through the results that electronic commerce has played an important role in this pandemic, and the rates of electronic commerce has increased at significant rates. It remains that there are some activities in which transactions have decreased dramatically, such as travel and tourism, An obstacle appeared that prevented the development of the use of electronic commerce more than it is today, which is the logistical aspect, Which has decreased and affected the rates of electronic commerce.
