         1. Article withdrawal

Withdrawal refers to papers that are not published, under review, or accepted. Pulling out a paper during peer review or production after acceptance, but before publication, is an uncommon event and not considered good scientific practice, and should only be done in special cases.

To avoid withdrawing a manuscript

We ask authors, especially of the corresponding author or first author, to address the following issues before submitting the manuscript:

Checking several times that the information and data presented in the manuscripts are error-free and accurate.

  • - Confirmation that the information and data contained in the manuscript are the work of the authors, and the authors are permitted to use the materials and resources as they were used in the study.

  • - Verify that all authors agree to the presentation and interpretation of facts and data contained in the manuscript. In the event of any change of opinion, all authors must be addressed before the manuscript is submitted for publication.

  • - Before submitting the article for publication, all authors must be informed of the name of the journal to which the manuscript is being sent and given a copy of the final article.

All authors agree to the specified journal when submitting the manuscript for publication. If there are any disagreements about the journal selection, find a journal that all authors accept before submitting the manuscript for publication.

Submit the manuscript for only one journal for publication consideration. Do not send a manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.

  • - The journal does not accept the withdrawal of the manuscript once it is accepted in another journal.

  • - If the authors do not respond to the correspondence received from the editorial office, even after several reminders, at any stage of the publishing process. The Journal of Economic Growth and Entrepreneurship reserves all rights to disclose the behavior of the authors and the content of the manuscript without obtaining further consent from the authors, and it cannot be held responsible for the consequences of this action.

Articles may only be withdrawn if they have not been officially published. To retract an article, authors must write a clear and concise letter to be sent to the journal's e-mail jegeinfo@univ-adrar.edu.dz , with a justification for why the manuscript should be withdrawn. The letter must be signed by all authors. The magazine reserves the right to withdraw an article for plagiarism, fraudulent use of data, or other breaches of ethics.

Just as the authors retain the copyright for an article, this does not mean that they automatically have the right to withdraw it after publication. The integrity of the published scientific record is of great importance, and these setback policies and withdrawals remain in effect in these cases.

       2.Article retraction

If a paper is retracted, Journal Editors should consider retracting it:

-Infringements of technical ethics standards, such as multiple requests, misleading authorship statements, plagiarism, dishonest data usage, etc., are included.
-It includes significant errors (e.g. miscalculations or experimental errors) or the key inference is no longer true or significantly compromised due to the discovery of new information which, at the time of publication, was not available to the authors.

Based on an inquiry, the Journal Editors shall decide if a retraction is necessary and shall operate in compliance with the COPE Retraction Guidelines in such cases. Journal of Economic Growth and Entrepreneurship has followed the following best practice for paper retraction:

-A retraction notice, signed by the authors and/or the publisher, entitled 'Retraction: [Article Title]' which is published in a subsequent issue of the journal and is included in the table of contents of this issue.
-A link is added to the original article in the electronic edition.

-The online article is followed by a screen with a retraction note; the relation resolves on this screen; the reader may then continue to the article itself.
"-The original article shall remain unchanged, with the exception of a watermark included on each page of the PDF article indicating that it has been “retracted”.

Notice even if writers maintain an article's copyright, this would not always mean they have the right to revoke it after publication. The quality of the scientific record released is of utmost importance and, in those situations, the COPE  Retraction Guidelines still apply.

          3- Article removal

The removal of a written article from an online archive could be necessary in an incredibly small number of cases. This can only arise where an article is obviously defamatory or violates the civil rights of others, or if the article is, or we have reasonable cause to believe it to be, the target of a court order, or if the article may pose a significant health danger if it is acted upon. In certain cases, the document will be replaced by a screen showing that the article was discarded for legal purposes, while the documentation (i.e. title and author information) of the article will be saved.
