An evaluation and analytical study of the insurance sector in Algeria during the period 2006-2018

Abstract

This study aims to discover the reality of the insurance sector in Algeria, by presenting the most important actors in the sector, by analyzing the activity of the sector (insurance premiums and compensation) over the period 2006-2018.

 

The study found that the Algerian insurance sector grew slowly during the period studied, with its contribution to gross domestic product did not exceed 1% and Algerian per capita insurance expenditure did not exceed 3250 dinars.
